Technion Obelisk – Dr. Santiago Calatrava

The Obelisk, a campus landmark, recognizes the contiributions to Technion by the Russell Berrie Foundation in establishing RBNI, the Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute. The 28 meter tall stainless steel Obelisk is a kinetic sculpture created by Dr. Santiago Calatrava. Calatrava has a worldwide reputation for his contemporary edifices and designs.
